　　在古代崇拜撒託古亞的是蛇人和長毛的類人種族沃米人(voormi)，之後的時代則是各類巫師和術士們。他有時會賜予魔法傳送門和法術給忠實的信徒。在《伊波恩之書》中撒託古亞被稱作佐塔庫亞(zhothaqquah)。
